RAK WisMesh Hub

Important: 868 MHz for Europe

Always buy the 868 MHz version for use in Europe. The 915 MHz version (US) is not allowed in Europe.

What is the RAK WisMesh Hub?

The RAK WisMesh Hub (officially WisMesh Gateway) is an MQTT gateway suitable for use with MeshCore. Available in WiFi and Ethernet variants.

The gateway receives messages from MeshCore nodes via LoRa and forwards them to an MQTT broker for monitoring, automation, or integration with other systems.

The hardware comes pre-assembled and is suitable for use with MeshCore after the correct firmware has been installed.

Detailed Description

RAK offers two gateway variants: the WisMesh WiFi Gateway (RAK10719) with ESP32-S3 (RAK3312) for wireless connectivity, and the WisMesh Ethernet Gateway (RAK10720) with nRF52840 (RAK4631), SX1262, and ethernet for wired connectivity.

The Ethernet version supports optional Power over Ethernet (PoE) via the RAK19018 module. This simplifies installation since you only need one cable for both data and power.

Both gateways are suitable for making MeshCore traffic available over MQTT for dashboards, logging, automation, or integration with other systems.
