RAK WisMesh Base
Modular WisBlock platform for Meshtastic. The foundation for expandable mesh network projects.
Important: 868 MHz for Europe
Always buy the 868 MHz version for use in Europe. The 915 MHz version (US) is not allowed in Europe.
What is the RAK WisMesh Base?
The RAK WisMesh Base (officially WisBlock Meshtastic Starter Kit) combines the RAK19007 Base Board with the RAK4631 Core Module. This forms the foundation of RAK's modular Meshtastic ecosystem.
The RAK4631 Core Module contains a Nordic nRF52840 MCU with Bluetooth 5.0 and a Semtech SX1262 LoRa transceiver. This provides excellent performance with very low power consumption.
The WisBlock system is designed for expandability: you can add sensors, GPS modules, displays and other components via the IO slots on the base board.

Detailed Description
The WisBlock system is RAK's answer to modular IoT development. The RAK19007 base board offers multiple slots for expansion modules, while the RAK4631 core provides the brains and LoRa radio.
Several base boards are available: the RAK19003 is the smallest and perfect for Client or Router role, the RAK19007 offers more expansion options, and the RAK19001 has Dual IO slots for extensive projects.
Note: There are two versions of the RAK4631 - standard (Arduino bootloader) and RAK4631-R (RUI3 bootloader). Meshtastic requires the Arduino bootloader version.
