What is the Nano G1 Explorer?

The Nano G1 Explorer from B&Q Consulting is a premium Meshtastic device designed for outdoor adventures. It combines an ESP32 processor with SX1262 LoRa and an advanced internal wideband antenna.

What makes this device special is the internal antenna that works from 815 MHz to 940 MHz - this means you can use the same device in virtually any region in the world without having to replace the antenna.

The antenna is specially designed to continue performing well, even when the device is in your pocket. With many other devices, the signal degrades significantly near the human body.

Detailed Description

The Nano G1 Explorer is designed by Neil Hao of B&Q Consulting as a durable and portable solution for outdoor mesh communication. The device strikes the right balance between RF performance, size, ruggedness and power efficiency.

An important feature is the wideband RF frontend that is optimized for all common LoRa frequency bands. This is ideal for people who travel internationally or live in border regions where multiple frequencies may be relevant.

The device is supported by the official Meshtastic firmware repository since version 2.0.21.83. Firmware updates can be installed via drag & drop.
