Send messages without internet

Communicate via MeshCore without internet, WiFi or mobile network. Send messages during power outages or disasters

Why send messages without internet?

During emergencies, the internet often fails first. No WhatsApp, no email, no social media. But with MeshCore you can send messages without internet via radio signals. Perfect for disasters, power outages, or remote areas in the Netherlands.

In this guide you'll learn how to send text messages, locations and emergency calls via the mesh network. Everything completely offline, without internet or mobile network.

How to send messages without internet?

1. Connect your device via Bluetooth

Your LoRa radio connects via Bluetooth to your smartphone. No internet needed โ€“ only a local Bluetooth connection.

2. Open the MeshCore app

The app shows all available contacts and channels. You immediately see which users are reachable via the mesh network.

3. Write your message

Type your message in the app, just like WhatsApp. Keep it short and powerful โ€“ messages are limited to 237 characters.

4. Send via mesh network

Your message is sent via radio signals. If the recipient is too far away, repeaters automatically forward the message.
